Talc
The term Talc covers a wide range of natural rocks and minerals, most of which are magnesium silicates. Talc tends to form in plates. This platy structure gives talc many of its reinforcing performance properties. Most Talc originates from the alteration of dolomite or ultramafic intrusive rocks. Following this process, talc is always found in combination with other minerals, carbonates and chlorite are the most commonly associated minerals. Each talc deposit has a unique morphology and mineralogy, but all talcs exhibit the following unique properties: softness, water repellency, chemical inertness, platyness, and an affinity for organic substances. These properties make talc a highly prized multi-functional filler and process enabler in various applications from plastics to paper, and ceramics to paint.
Terra Natural Minerals mainly provides Lump Talc products, we also produce ground talc products, and our products are offered as small as 0.8 microns for superior reinforcement. Our products cater to Talc refineries and powder Industry, Plastic industry, Rubber Industry, Polymers Industry, Paints & Coating Industry, Ceramics Industry, Pulp & Paper Industry and Fertiliser Industry. . Terra can provide different grades of talc from A, B, C and mixed grades with competitive prices.
